Resonance sessions are designed to support relaxation, focus, and personal intention-setting. They are not medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed health professional.
Not medical advice
Content generated by Resonance — including scripts, affirmations, solfeggio tones, binaural beats, breathwork cues, and voice guidance — is provided for general wellness and self-reflection purposes only. No statement on this website or in any generated audio is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical, mental, or emotional condition.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new wellness practice, especially if you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, or are receiving mental-health treatment.
Who should not use Resonance without a doctor's approval
Please consult a licensed physician before using Resonance if any of the following apply to you:
- You have a history of seizures, epilepsy, or any seizure disorder — binaural beats and rhythmic auditory stimulation may be contraindicated
- You have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device
- You are currently under the care of a psychiatrist or mental-health provider for psychosis, dissociative disorders, PTSD, severe anxiety, or severe depression
- You are pregnant
- You are under 18 years of age (our service is not intended for minors — see our Terms)
- You are in acute crisis, at risk of harming yourself, or experiencing a mental-health emergency
Listening safety rules
Never while driving unless Driving Mode is selected
Meditative mode sessions induce deep relaxation and are unsafe to listen to while operating any vehicle, heavy machinery, or power equipment. Only Driving Mode sessions are engineered to keep you alert; even then, you are responsible for maintaining full attention to the road and pulling over if you feel drowsy.
Headphones and volume
For binaural-beat effects to be perceptible, Resonance sessions must be listened to with stereo headphones or earbuds. Listen at a moderate volume. Prolonged loud listening can cause hearing damage.
Where and when
Meditative sessions work best in a safe, quiet space where you can sit or lie down without being disturbed. Do not listen in environments where impaired awareness could cause harm — bathtubs, swimming pools, balconies, ladders, near open flames, etc.
Claims about solfeggio frequencies and binaural beats
Resonance uses tones at frequencies (including 528 Hz and 432 Hz "solfeggio" frequencies and binaural beats in the alpha and theta ranges) that are common in contemporary sound-healing and meditation practices. Traditional and popular sources attribute various benefits to these tones.
These claims are not supported by conclusive peer-reviewed clinical evidence and have not been evaluated or endorsed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any regulatory body. We offer them as a traditional, spiritual, and meditative practice — not as a medical treatment.
Individual results vary
The effectiveness of hypnotic audio, guided meditation, and intention-setting varies widely from person to person. Resonance makes no guarantees about specific outcomes, improvements, healings, or life results. Your experience depends on many factors outside of our control, including your own practice, mindset, and circumstances.
If you experience adverse effects
Stop listening immediately and consult a healthcare provider if you experience any of the following while or after using Resonance: dizziness, nausea, headache, seizure, anxiety, emotional flooding, dissociation, re-traumatization, disturbing memories, or anything else that feels wrong. Sound and trance-based practices occasionally surface difficult material — please be gentle with yourself and seek support.
Assumption of risk
By using Resonance, you acknowledge that you have read this disclaimer, that you are an adult of sound mind, that you are voluntarily participating in meditative and hypnotic practice, and that you assume full responsibility for any risks associated with your use of the service.
